STEPS Prosthetics is delighted to announce its support for the launch of a new amputee user group in the North East of England, intended to provide much needed local support to amputees in this region.
The North East Amputee Support Group is an empowering community offering guidance, support and practical advice. Whether you’re a new amputee or have been on this journey for a while, this group provides a safe space to share experiences, gain valuable insights, celebrate achievements, and navigate challenges.
We will be hosting the first meeting on Friday 8th March, 2024, from 9:30 am to 11:30 am, at the Metro Centre Community Hub, located in the Upper Green Mall at NE11 9YG, adjacent to Boots. There is a lift next to M&S.
Refreshments will be provided, and the fully accessible venue also has parking and disabled parking.
We welcome feedback from potential service users, to help us shape the group to best meet the needs of local amputees.
